Paved Earth Music and theConspiracy, LLC have released a jazz industry
first! This is the first iPhone application created specifically for
Mark Rapp providing a hip and effective way to communicate directly
with fans while providing a unique platform to distribute engaging
content. The Mark Rapp iPhone App can be downloaded for free at the
iTunes App Store. It features a streaming music player with purchase
options; watch latest videos; photo gallery, pulls Twitter, Flickr,
YouTube, News feeds and more; artist bio; external links and more.
Paved
Earth Music, whose tag line reads Creative American Music, was created
in 2003 as an all-digital label, a concept ahead of its time even then,
and from its inception has been offering music downloads via a myriad
of outlets from the now popular "download cards" to various other
online and creative means. The Mark Rapp iPhone App is powered by
the Appetite::forMusic platform. Appetite is at the core of Paved
Earth's application driven distribution system. theConspiracy has a
client roster that includes everyone from Remy Martin to Korn and is
building social media and mobile applications for EMI, Blue Note,
Depeche Mode and Def Jam.
Mark Rapp says of the app, "I'm
thrilled we have this iPhone app - it's an awesome way to stay in touch
with you. And the cool thing is, as it grows and develops, the updates
are automatic - from new features in the app itself to releasing new
music, videos, photos, news and more. And it's a cool honor knowing
this is the first of its kind in the jazz community."
