Jobim / Getz Centennial

2027 Marks the Centennial of Two Musical Titans Antonio Jobim and Stan Getz.  Together they are recognized as popularizing the Bossa Nova and the Sounds of Brazil Worldwide.  The masterpiece recordings, Jazz Samba and Getz / Gilberto are two of the most influential, best selling and influential albums of all time.

Getz/Gilberto was widely acclaimed by music critics and  features the massive Worldwide  hit, "The Girl from Ipanema" which received Grammy Awards for Best Jazz Instrumental Album, Individual or Group and became the first non-American album to win Album of the Year.

The Centennial celebration will feature Trio Da Paz, three of Brazil’s  storried and in-demand musicians ,guitarist Romero Lubambo, bassist Nilson Matta and drummer Duduka Da Fonseca.  Joining the group will be long time Jobim vocalist, Maucha Adent and Tenor saxophonist grat and Getz Aficionado Harry Allen/
